Leigh chose to participate in the Nuclear Rush on the 13th May 2017 which was a 12km course distance over ultra-gritty, properly muddy, obstacle-loaded farmland.

Leigh chose to support a local school in Buntingford, who like some other schools struggle to afford the essential equipment that is required for students. They also battle to offer the necessary facilities required for their disabled students.
